Caution & Side effects

Manuka honey rarely causes allergic reactions. However, people who have known allergic reactions to bee stings or other hive products (such as propolis) should avoid active Manuka Honey. Manuka should not be given to children under 12 months.

Internal Uses

  • Stomach ulcers.

  • Gastritis.

  • Dyspepsia.

  • Sore throats, colds and flu.

  • To relieve the ulceratic effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

External Uses

  • Apply thin layer of honey to wound dressing large enough to cover up the wound.

  • Change dressing up to three times daily. Fill in abscesses, cavities and depressions.
